Proposal Development

Checklist

Our office has developed a checklist for NIH R01 research proposals to serve as a guide to the standard sections. Please contact our office peds-grants@peds.ufl.edu as soon as possible in advance of any deadline if you are interested to receive any assistance with your submission.

Resources

Below you will find links to NIH and UF-specific grant application forms as well as a list of appropriate offices and individuals to contact for assistance.

You can also contact the Pediatrics Research Office for specific kinds of assistance in coordinating and writing your grant. Our team has developed tools to help you organize your project and to make writing standard sections more efficient while modifying them to meet your specific research objectives.

Deadlines

The Pediatrics Research Office requires that all grant applications be received in the office at least FIVE business days prior to the funding agency deadline date. Failure to meet the five business day requirement means the Research Office cannot guarantee your application will make the agency’s deadline date.
