Abstract Submission Guidelines

Deadline

The deadline for Abstract and Case Submission forms is Midnight on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

No changes will be allowed after the Sunday, April 23, 2017 deadline.

Abstracts and cases will be reviewed and selected for either poster or oral presentation. Not all submissions may be selected so please submit your best work for consideration. We recommend that you consult with a colleague to review your abstract to ensure the best quality. The presenting author will be notified shortly after the deadline with an acceptance status and anticipated presentation type.

Abstracts

Should not exceed 1 page, with 1 inch margins, using 11 point Times New Roman font and must be submitted in a Word document.

Title

Use a title that concisely summarizes the content of the abstract.

Authors

List all author(s) names in a complete format (e.g, James Smith, MD) and include the name, degree, institution, city, state, and country for those involved.

Format

An abstract must be submitted in the following format:

  1. Introduction
  2. Hypothesis
  3. Method
  4. Results
  5. Conclusion

Posters

The boards for posters are 5’10” wide by 4’10” tall. Pins will be provided for the event.
